Soccer Fields
BRYC partners with Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) and the Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) to secure fields for our soccer programs. Through permits issued by these organizations, we gain access to specific school and park facilities, ensuring our players have well-maintained spaces for practices and games.
Partnerships and Field Allocation:
While BRYC does not own its fields, our partnerships provide us with access to the following:
- Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS): School fields are available during the academic year starting at 5:00 PM.
- Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA): Park spaces are allocated with their own set of rules and guidelines.
This page highlights the fields and schools BRYC is authorized to use, as we do not have unrestricted access to all fields in Fairfax County. Field usage is a privilege we value deeply, and we ask all players, coaches, and families to adhere to the regulations set by our partners. This ensures the safety of all participants and helps preserve these valuable community resources.

Field Usage Rules
Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA)
- Fields are generally open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with seasonal adjustments for daylight and weather conditions.
- Dogs are permitted in park areas but must be leashed at all times and are not allowed on designated playing fields.
- Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Do not park on grass or block access routes.
- Users must follow all posted park rules, including trash disposal and respecting field maintenance schedules.
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
- Fields are available starting at 5:00 PM during the school year.
- Pets, including dogs, are prohibited on school property per FCPS Regulation 2125. Exceptions are made only for service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities.
- All users must vacate fields promptly at the end of their scheduled time.
- Field closures due to weather or safety concerns will be communicated promptly.
Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC)
- Practice Field Usage Rules:
- Initially, introduce yourself to the other coaches sharing your practice field, as unauthorized groups may attempt to take over field space, especially on synthetic turf fields.
- Stick to your assigned practice time slot.
- Have field permits with you (printed or downloaded).
- Carry Medical Waiver, Liability Release, and Conduct forms.
- No animals/pets on fields except official service animals with proper documentation.
- No smoking or alcohol allowed on fields.
- Portable Goals at fields may NOT be pulled out for weeknight practices except for portable goals at Woodson Auxiliary & Robinson Practice field, which must be weighted down with sandbags when used.
