Field Usage Rules

Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA)
  • Fields are generally open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with seasonal adjustments for daylight and weather conditions.
  • Dogs are permitted in park areas but must be leashed at all times and are not allowed on designated playing fields.
  • Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Do not park on grass or block access routes.
  • Users must follow all posted park rules, including trash disposal and respecting field maintenance schedules.
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
  • Fields are available starting at 5:00 PM during the school year.
  • Pets, including dogs, are prohibited on school property per FCPS Regulation 2125. Exceptions are made only for service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities.
  • All users must vacate fields promptly at the end of their scheduled time.
  • Field closures due to weather or safety concerns will be communicated promptly.
Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC)
  • Practice Field Usage Rules:
    • Initially, introduce yourself to the other coaches sharing your practice field, as unauthorized groups may attempt to take over field space, especially on synthetic turf fields.
    • Stick to your assigned practice time slot.
    • Have field permits with you (printed or downloaded).
    • Carry Medical Waiver, Liability Release, and Conduct forms.
    • No animals/pets on fields except official service animals with proper documentation.
    • No smoking or alcohol allowed on fields.
    • Portable Goals at fields may NOT be pulled out for weeknight practices except for portable goals at Woodson Auxiliary & Robinson Practice field, which must be weighted down with sandbags when used.
