BRYC All-Star Tournaments
Each season BRYC coaches and league directors select players from the U8 through U19 age groups to participate in an all-star tournament. In the fall the all-star tournament is hosted by Herndon Youth Soccer in mid-November. In the spring the tournament is hosted by FPYC and is held on Father's Day weekend. The all-star tournaments are a great opportunity for the players to experience tournament play and compete at a high level.

Recreational Tournament
The All-Star Cup is a recreational tournament formatted for greater competition at the end of the Fall season, attracting hundreds of teams from many clubs. Each club selects their top recreational players in each age group, and forms one or more "All-Star" teams to compete in the tournament over a weekend. The experience is fun and exciting for players, coaches and families!
In 2024, Herndon will celebrate its 23rd Anniversary hosting the All-Star Cup!

General Information
U8 AGE GROUP FORMAT: U8 teams play 7 mini games (games are 25 minutes) in a round-robin format. No standings are kept for U8. Every U8 player receives a special participation award--no trophies are awarded in this age group.
U9-U19 AGE GROUP FORMAT: Each team in the U9-U19 age groups will play a qualification round consisting of four 25-minute games. At the end of each game the winning and losing teams will be awarded game points. The game points will be used to seed the teams for the championship rounds. All teams will proceed to the championship round on Sunday, consisting of 50 or 60 minute games. At the conclusion of the championship rounds in the U9-U19 age groups, awards will be provided to the players for both division champions and finalists.
ROSTER SIZE: Teams are limited to 8 players in the U8 age group, 14 players in the U9-U10 age group, 16 players in the U11-U12 age group and 18 players in the U13-U19 age groups.
CARDED TRAVEL PLAYERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT IN ANY AGE GROUP!

Father's Day Tournament
2023 41st Annual Father’s Day All-Star Tournament
June 17 and 18, 2023
The Father’s Day Tournament is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) for recreational and recreational All-Star teams. In lieu of player cards all rosters must be certified by their club administrator that the players are registered recreational players and have played during the spring season with their host club. Their host club must be affiliated with VYSA. No travel teams or travel carded players are allowed. Birth certificates and passports will NOT be accepted.
General Information
- Divisions in each age group based on team playing levels (A, B or C – Self reported)
- SFL Teams – will review SFL standings and place teams in divisions similarly ranked
- All Fields in Fairfax County or City of Fairfax - Utilizing as many artificial turf fields as possible.
- We are excited to announce that starting with the 2023 tournament we are moving to a modified U9 game format for our participating 8U teams! We will be playing 6v6 with goalies on a U9 size field complete with 6x12 goals and referees! We have heard your feedback and look forward to this exciting change at U8!
- All teams in 9U – 19U will play 3 preliminary games
- Each team in 8U will play 4 games; No standings will be kept; Each player will receive an all-star participation award
- Championship game for each division – trophies/medals for both champion and finalist

After a year long all-star hiatus due to covid, BRYC sent 19 teams to the FPYC Father's Day All-Star Tournament and it was a great time based on the feedback I've received. We saw a lot of success in our younger age groups with coach Morrison's U9 girls making it to the finals and coach Young's U10 boys winning their division in extra time. An extra thank you to the coahces and league directors for making this tournament a great experience for this players this season and hopefully we'll be back at it again in the fall.
