BRYC Recreational Soccer Refund Policy

Introduction

BRYC Recreational Soccer is a non-profit organization committed to providing an affordable and enjoyable soccer experience for all participants. We recognize that circumstances may arise that require a player to withdraw from the program. Because many program costs are incurred before the season begins, our refund policy is structured to balance fairness to families with the financial sustainability of the league.

Applicability

This policy applies to all players registered in BRYC Recreational Soccer. Refunds are granted only under specific conditions and within designated timeframes. Deadlines and eligibility criteria ensure consistency in processing requests while accounting for administrative and operational costs.

Confidentiality

All refund requests will be handled with discretion. Any personal or medical information provided to support a request will be kept confidential and shared only with the appropriate BRYC administrators involved in the review process. Refund Eligibility

→ Fall Season: Withdrawals before August 1 receive a $73 refund.

→ Spring Season: Withdrawals before March 1 receive a $73 refund.

→ Before League Play Begins: Refunds will be granted only for:

→ Medical emergencies (e.g., broken arm).

→ Relocation out of the area.

→ Once league play begins: No refunds will be granted.

Refund Processing & Fees

→ Refunds will be processed at the end of the season.

→ Uniform and opt-out fees: Fully refunded.

→ Late fees: Nonrefundable.

→ Waitlist players: Full refund if not placed on a team.

Late Registration & Waitlist Policies

→ Late Registration: A $20 nonrefundable late fee applies, except for families new to the area.

→ Waitlist Registration: $10 nonrefundable fee. If a spot becomes available, the fee will apply to the registration cost.

Volunteer Discount

→ Head coaches and EXCOM members may register one (1) child at a discounted rate of $35.

→ The discount will be issued as a credit or refund before the end of the season.

→ If the volunteer commitment is not fulfilled, the full registration fee must be reimbursed.

Travel Soccer Restriction

→ A card-bearing Travel soccer player is not permitted to play on a BRYC Recreational team during the season.

→ If a Travel player is found participating, no refund will be issued, and disciplinary action, including suspension, may be applied.
